Comparative analysis of intrauterine shaver and hysteroresectoscopy for submucosal myoma treatment

Korennaya V. V., Puchkov K. V.

Abstract

Optimization of surgical techniques for submucosal fibroids treatment is of great clinical importance, since it allows to normalize menstrual blood loss and improve fertility outcomes. We accomplished a comparative analysis of traditional hysteroresectoscopic resection and intrauterine shaving of submucous uterine fibroids in patient with heavy menstrual loss or subfertility. We also evaluated the efficiency of the intrauterine use of hyaluronic acid gel for adhesion prevention.
