Монография А. А. Андреева посвящена истории «поиска исторического Иисуса», то есть попыток реконструкции жизни Иисуса из Назарета, с привлечением наиболее важных трудов на эту тему с конца XVIII в. и до дней сегодняшних. Работа верно излагает общую картину «поиска», но содержит ряд неточностей и ошибок, особенно в изложении методов и взглядов современных участников «поиска».

The monograph by A. A. Andreev is devoted to the history of the “search for the historical Jesus”, that is, attempts to reconstruct the life of Jesus of Nazareth, with the involvement of the most important works on this topic from the end of the 18th cent. and up to the present day. The work correctly presents the general picture of the “search”, but contains numerous inaccuracies and errors, especially in the presentation of the methods and views of modern participants in the “search”.
