Термин бхавана в трактате «Бхавана-крама» Камалашилы

Публикация посвящена термину бхавана – ключевому термину знаменитого сочинения VIII в. «Бхавана-крама» автора Камалашилы. В связи с анализом функционирования в тексте термина бхавана в статье освещается вопрос происхождения частей этого трактата, рассматриваются вопросы композиции и содержания памятника. Производится сопоставление значений этого термина в трактате и других санскритских сочинениях. Анализ санскритского текста «Бхавана-крамы», в особенности таких выражений, как bhūtārtha-bhāvanā, bhūtam eva… bhāvanīyam и др., дает возможность выявить глубинные слои значений термина бхавана.

The Sanskrit term bhāvanā as used in the “Bhāvanā-krama” by Kamalaśīla

The paper focuses on the concept of bhāvanā, i.e. the key term of the Sanskrit treatise “Bhāvanā-krama” by Kamalaśīla (VIII CE). The analysis of the context of “Bhāvanā-krama”, where this term occurs provides an insight into the issues of the origin of the said treatise, its composition and contents. The meaning of this term in “Bhāvanā-krama” is compared to its usage in other Sanskrit texts. The general analysis of the text of “Bhāvanā-krama” and particularly of the application of this term in the expressions, such as bhūtārtha-bhāvanā, bhūtam eva… bhāvanīyam etc. offers a better understanding of the term proper and highlights the deep layers of its meaning.
