Abstract

The article shows intertwinement between the individual professional way of a specialist in preservation of cultural heritage with historical evolution of ideas in this area; as professional ways of different experts cross and mutually supplement each other. Personal choice of a way, carried out by an expert, may influence the future of cultural heritage itself.
