DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF HIP DYSPLASIA IN CHILDREN

TASTANBEKOVA Z. U., LOZOVOI V. M.

Abstract

A review of the articles on the diagnosis and treatment of hip dysplasia in children of different ages over the past 5 years has been conducted. The article clearly defines the criteria for the effectiveness of diagnostic methods and functional treatment that are currently applied, taking into account systematic reviews and cohort studies. A common principle in the treatment of hip dysplasia is to maintain the location of the femoral head in the acetabulum. Achieving this goal can range from simple conservative treatment to complex invasive surgery, depending on the age and degree of dysplasia. In this review, we summarize current trends and principles of treatment in the diagnosis and treatment of hip dysplasia.
