Abstract

An assessment of the features of coronary artery disease was made according to the data of multispiral computed tomography (MSCT) study in ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan. The results of MSCT of patients with verified coronary atherosclerosis (n = 2020) were analyzed. It has been established that in Asian patients, according to MSCT, significant stenosis of the left coronary artery and multivessel lesions are detected more often, rarely there are narrowing of the lumen of the right coronary artery and more often monovascular lesions identified in European individuals. It is shown that the average level of calcium index according to MSCT is lower among Europeans, comparing with Asians.
