ROLE OF CALCIUM HYDROXYAPATITIS AND CALCIUM FLUOROXYAPATITIS IN CONSERVATIVE DENTISTRY

ISABAEV A. D., TEMIRBAEV M. A., DAUYLBAEV CH. B.

Abstract

The aim of this work is the potential use of calcium fluorohydroxyapatite or calcium hydroxyapatite for the treatment of dental hypersensitivity. Questions about toothpastes containing nano- and microcrystalline calcium hydroxyapatite are discussed. The effectiveness of the process of remineralization and closure of the dentinal tubules as a result of the use of various toothpastes (fluoride-containing toothpaste, calcium hydroxyapatite) is considered. The problems associated with erosion of enamel are described, especially in children and adolescents, which is caused by the growing amount of acidic foods and drinks in their diet (highpopularityofenergydrinks).
