Сколько пациентов с нормальной МРТ-картиной имеют рак простаты?

Проведено ретроспективное одноцентровое исследование чувствительности мультипараметрической магнитно-резонансной томографии (МРТ) в диагностике рака предстательной железы в условиях реальной клинической практики. МРТ до получения результатов биопсии выполнена у 249пациентов со стандартными показаниями к первой биопсии. Из 174 пациентов, у которых по данным МРТ признаки рака отсутствовали, клинически значимый рак выявлен по данным биопсии в 13 % случаев.

How many patients with negative MRI have prostate cancer?

Sensitivity of multi-parametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for prostate cancer in normal clinical practice setting was studied retrospectively in single hospital. 249patients with traditional indication for initial biopsy had MRI before biopsy. MRI was normal in 174 patients, but 13 % of them had clinically significant prostate cancer after biopsy.
