Авторы в качестве графта применили аутологичную ткань – слизистую оболочку щеки. Слизистая оболочка щеки в настоящий момент, как показывает наш собственный опыт, является наиболее соответствующей формулировке «идеальный графт». Авторы располагают опытом лечения 28 пациентов по данной методике. Пациенты и их партнерши оценили отдаленные результаты как удовлетворительные; у всех удалось достичь выпрямления полового члена без укорочения его длины.
